Report reveals potential host city for WrestleMania 43

If WWE turns its head towards having the two-night extravaganza in Detroit in 2027, Ford Field is going to be the destined venue. Last time WrestleMania came to Motor City, it was the year 2007 when John Cena and Shawn Michaels main evented the show. Michigan loves professional wrestling, which is why it has been the host of many spectacular WWE events in the past.

Ford Field has a capacity of over 65,000, which makes it a perfect venue for a show like WrestleMania. The Detroit Sports Commission might face tough competition with international places like Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom looking to host the Showcase of Immortals as well. Next year, WWE is turning their heads up high to Sin City as WrestleMania 41 is all set to take place in Las Vegas.

Saudi Arabia plans to host WrestleMania in upcoming years

Saudi Arabia has been one of the prominent international spots for WWE events. With a hefty deal between the two parties, WWE goes all out with their PLE in the Kingdom. Now, it seems like the officials in Saudi Arabia are interested in having a huge event like WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble in their country.

As per what the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, told ESPN, they are planning to enhance their existing deal with WWE. It will soon come to an agreement with the fans after seeing more events take place in the Kingdom. Most importantly, the main focus is going to be on bringing WrestleMania to the country.

Therefore, it is highly possible that WWE might have WrestleMania as an international event as well. Although it is just a report at the moment, nothing has been confirmed. Saudi Arabia is going to host the next PLE of WWE King and Queen of the Ring and another PLE later this year, possibly Crown Jewel.
