Phil Jones to Leave Manchester United This Summer

Manchester United defender Phil Jones is set to leave Manchester United having spent 12 years at Old Trafford. The Englishman has spent over a decade at the club but has failed to make regular appearances for the last few years.

Jones was brought to the club by United's greatest ever manager Sir Alex Ferguson and was spoken about as a huge talent. However, Jones has had a number of injuries. mainly long term problems.

In the last few years, Jones has hardly seen a minute of game time for United due to physical setbacks. The player had also fallen down the pecking order majorly with United recruiting new defenders.

The Englishman had seen a run of a few games last season under interim boss, Ralf Rangnick. Jones played some decent performances but failed to really see many more minutes after that.
